The parts once cast are just part way through the manufacturing process. Because several steps in the process tend to distort the waxes used in the lost wax casting method, almost all the parts have to be remachined after casting. They are machined to return them to concentricity and remove mold lines from the surfaces, Clips are solderd to Silver washers that are turned to the dimensions needed. This lets us offer any clip style for any pen style. |
